The week we're currently in—between Christmas and New Year's—is an odd time. Rules don't apply. It's hard to remember what day it is. Leftover cookies are a perfectly acceptable form of breakfast. It's a (mostly) quiet, semi-blurry stretch where your inbox (hopefully) slows down, calendars pause, and the pressure to be "on" eases up before the looming months of resolutions, crowded gyms, and Q1 goals come rushing at us, full-force.
No matter what this week looks like for you, one thing is probably true: it’s a time of reflection. In the final few days of 2025, we naturally look back at the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
We wanted to do the same—blog style. The past year has brought more than 800 visitors and thousands of views across more than 25 new posts. We've shared intriguing conversations both online and off. And so, in honor of the end of the year, we're wrapping up with some of our favorites.
Below are our a few of our most popular blog posts from the past year (and a few standouts from years past). Whether you’re in full-on rest mode or currently plotting your plans for '26, we hope these posts give you inspiration, perspective, and maybe something to carry with you into the year ahead...
The 100 Hour Rule (May 2025 – A fan favorite from this year!)
Things We've Learned from Writing "Thorn" (February 2025 – A post that sums up a years-long project that we're SO proud of; and, in early 2026, the book will officially be published!)
Six Years of Blogging (May 2025 – A blog-iversary round-up with more links for more reading.)
Halloween = Leadership? and The Art of Avoiding Overthinking and Underthinking (October 2020 and April 2022 – Our top two most popular blogs ever!)
The Flea Circus Analogy (May 2019 – We had to give a nod to our FIRST blog ever!)
Thank you for being along with us for the ride of 6+ years and 230+ blogs to date. Happy New Year!
